Disappointing News from the Forestry Commission

Having chased up the Forestry Commission several times since their initial approach about the felled trees at Canberra Crescent, I was disappointed this week to be one of a number of recipients of a letter advising that they wouldn't be taking further action.

Attached is the letter sent to the land owner.

Whilst this is obviously a disappointing outcome, it would not have prevented further moves. However some of the terminology used in the decision letter is worth further investigation, not least that the Forestry Commission consider it to be Public Open Space.

You can see my immediate views also.
