Frustrated to hear recently that Stoke-on-Trent’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is to move the service for children and young people to Walsall. Adult services will remain in the city, but under 18s who require the services will be forced to take a 70mile round trip to access them, at a time when we should really be giving them as much support as we can.
Pleased that my local MP, Jack Brereton, has also joined the call to keep these important services accessible. Read our comments here.
