We took an hour out of work today to join hundreds of people across Stoke-on-Trent (and beyond!) in a Centenary Tea Party that has now officially been confirmed as the largest in the world!
A number of official locations were set up for the record attempt, including the Victoria Hall and the Hilton Double Tree in Festival Park, with officials from the Guinness Book of Records on hand to ensure no rules were broken (every participant had to drink an entire cup of tea and eat a scone... hard work but someone had to do it!). Steve and I hot footed it to Etruria, drank our tea, ate our scones and left as record breakers!
