Over the Christmas period I've had a number of contacts from residents concerned about streetlights along the A50 between Meir Park and the A500/Sideway roundabout, where a number can be seen to be out.
The A50 is the responsibility of National Highways, a national agency, who I have contacted to make them aware of this. They do have a 10 working days turn around on enquiries so hopefully we will get a response soon.
UPDATE - I have received a response from National Highways advising that they have had engineers on site this week, and a number of the lights have now come back on. There are a few that have more complex issues, but National Highways are hopeful that they will be illuminated shortly.
