Trubshaw Cross tractor

There’s some amazing projects right across Stoke-on-Trent benefitting from the Community Investment Fund! The idea of ladsanddads football started in Stoke-on-Trent and it’s great to see us investing in helping to maintain that tradition.

The Trubshaw Cross development is home to over thirty teams, run by a dedicated team of volunteers who maintain the site. Their proposal to purchase a new tractor, has meant they are better able to maintain the site, not least because the new tractor has lights so they can cut the pitches during the darker winter months! Hearing how this investment will help improve the facilities and has already assisted in attracting more volunteers, was great!
