Securing enterprise zone status for our Ceramic Valley project in 2015 continues to pay off with another new business opening in the city this week. I was delighted to be at to the opening of Toolstation’s new Tunstall branch on the Tunstall Trade Park, the first unit to be occupied in CWC Group’s speculative development off Brownhills Road.
This is Toolstation’s second branch in Stoke-on-Trent, and will create a handful of new jobs. Several of the other units in this row are due to be occupied shortly, and construction has already begun on another row of units opposite. Talking to Marc from CWC, the developer behind the project, they are really pleased with interest to date, crediting both the great location just off the A500 and also the benefits of being in the enterprise zone as key to attracting businesses. CWC were also behind the new £10m Tile Mountain development on the opposite side of Brownhills Road.
